The Planner & Zoning Officer acts as the liaison to the Township’s Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board and will work closely with the Director of Building & Zoning and the Township Manager to plan, organize, and direct planning and zoning activities within the department. This position is responsible for handling a broad range of Planning/Zoning duties including: coordinating, with oversight from the Director, land planning initiatives, such as pedestrian connectivity and Bethlehem Pike revitalization interpreting and enforcing the Township’s zoning ordinance, through review of permit, development and Zoning Hearing Board applications, making recommendations regarding such applications through written reports and oral presentations, and performing site inspections for zoning applications.
